Who are we?

We, Iris & Dominique, are two bosom friends with a soft spot for dogs. The reason why we decided to start up a business together is easily found: together we have a particular passion for dogs and that is more than clear! Our dogs score high when it comes to obedience, honesty and trust! Just think of the guide dogs for the blind, indispensable for so many visual handicapped persons or simply a dog as household pet, a wagging tail always there to greet you, always happy that he belongs! When dogs and children grow up together, play and frolic with each other and comfort each other at difficult times a friendship may emerge that will last a lifetime.

Two friends with the same passion for dogs, so we thought there could be no better starting point and motivation for setting up a business jointly like HighDogs. And so HighDogs was born, also thanks to the enthusiasm and support of our husbands and children. We are now general managers of an exclusive online shop for dealers with luxury products for …. dogs, an import-export distributing wholesaler for our exclusive products to shops. Further, distribution of our own HighDogs collection that we design, produce and distribute under our own name. Together, we have travelled from New York to London and Milan to visit important shows. Many international contacts were thereby made and hard negotiation followed. The result is clear: "a unique collection" in Flanders and Europe. A range of stylish, practical, original and fashion-conscious goods, designed for quadrupeds with people who want just that little more for their most faithful friend.

In addition, we have decided to donate a certain percentage of our sales from HighDogs to the MG guide dogs organisation. With every purchase you can therefore remember that you are contributing a mite to the training of guide dogs for the blind. Thanks to our customers' contributions, we can help to support the organisation financially with the expensive and intensive training of these dogs. Your support and our motivation and drive makes the "world around for the blind and poor-sighted" easier and more accessible so as together, thanks to a well-trained dog, to be able to lead a better independent life in our altogether ever busier society!
